Why me?

There was a time in my life when I lived in an untidy house, too much big for me alone.
I was typically dipped in the depression/messy house cycle, totally unable to unfuck my habitat and live in a more decent way, for certain reasons I don’t want to explain to you now since this blog is not about memories.

In the bedroom there was a large bed which occupied pretty much all the room, so there was no table, just a white shelf where I was used to stack my books, CDs & other unidentified objects.

The big screen of my old PC was there, not a flat one either, since it was just the beginning of the XXI century, and most of the inexpensive PC screen looked like this monitor-23352_960_720

On the walls of my bedroom there were no naked girls, just two posters: the first was of Salvador Dali’s “Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening” – but that is another story.

The second was the poster of the Blade Runner movie

Moreover, I had some old games installed in my PC, one of them was the 1997 version of Blade Runner developed by Westwood Studios I used to play a lot with, after getting back from my gym club to 2 in the morning – I usually woke up at 8.30 and went to work quite late – good old times and plenty of time to waste in my lonely nights.

So, I change my name in Paul – from my real first Italian name Paolo – and Deckard, from the movie…and that’s all to answer to the question above: Why me?
